A lot of people don’t understand the importance of physical escalation on the first date and in general. In the same way it takes time for you to get to know somebody it also takes time for your date to get accustomed to your touch.
Most common mistake on 1st date:
Trying to kiss your date without any form of physical contact prior to the kiss what so ever.
In order for your date to feel comfortable with your touch / kiss, you need to slowly escalate the steps. Starting with small, gestures on neutral place - like a kiss on the cheek, touching of the forearm etc. And taking it from there to more sensual places like the lower back, hips, the palm of the hand, neck and finally of course - the mouth.
So when you finally come to kiss your date they are already accustomed to your touching them and it doesn’t feel weird.
